We are looking to expand our Growth Team, which focuses on cross-sector investments in later stage companies (series A-D) and counts 3 growth investors. We are hiring an Associate in London, Berlin, Paris, Vienna or Munich.

ABOUT THE POSITION

In this role, you will play an active role in building our relationship with founders and helping them from the beginning to the end of the investment journey. You will be responsible for trend scouting, deal sourcing, and due diligence for investment opportunities. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in supporting existing portfolio companies.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Source investment opportunities relevant to our thesis

• Perform in-depth commercial and financial due diligence
• Prepare summary materials and present investment recommendations in deal meetings
• Actively monitor portfolio companies
• Help with the Growth fund’s key strategic projects, including fundraising and business development
• Represent Speedinvest at conferences and events
• Assist with special projects on an as-needed basis

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (or currently enrolled as a MBA student)

• Excellent academic track record at a top tier University
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced work environment (such as VC, PE, Tech startup, Consulting, IB)
• Some previous exposure to technology or demonstrated interest in the latest technological developments
• Fluent in English, additional European language is a plus
