Micron’s Technology & Products Group (TPG) Industrial Engineering team drives innovation and efficiency across our global research and development fabs. We prioritize improving factory operations by using data-driven solutions, advanced analytics, and thoughtful analysis.
Position Overview
As a TPG Global Industrial Engineer Intern, you will work on high-impact projects that enhance the performance of one of the most complex fab environments in the world. This internship offers hands-on experience with large-scale data sets, advanced visualization tools, and real-world problem solving in a highly automated manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Identify key performance indicators to measure R&D program success
- Extract and analyze planning data from large data sources
- Build dashboards and reports using Tableau and other visualization tools
- Create infographics to communicate insights in a clear and engaging format
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, with equivalent experience considered
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages for data extraction
- Strong understanding of supply chain and manufacturing operations
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently
- Advanced communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in project or program management
- Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, or other data visualization software
- Ability to present technical information to diverse audiences
- Strong data intuition and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Expected graduation after the internship timeframe
