Job Summary

Dominion Energy, one of the nation’s largest producers of energy, is seeking an energetic, highly motivated and innovative student with a strong interest in Emerging Technologies.  This summer of 2026 internship is specifically designed for a student with an anticipated graduation date of May 2027 or 2028.

Dominion is looking for 1 intern with interest in the following foundational IT areas:

1. Cloud-Native application development (OpehShift, Azure Kubernetes)
2. DevSecOps using ADO & GitHub Action CI/CD pipelines
3. Test automation using Tricentis TOSCA
4. API Management & programming in Azure cloud
5. Rapid app modernization using Gen AI

Located in Richmond, Virginia where the company is headquartered, or in Cayce, South Carolina, you will work closely with a cross functional team of analysts, engineers & programmers to support the Tech Domain COE Team.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

• Must currently be enrolled as a full-time student in a 4 year college or university degreed program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Prior experience with the above listed technologies is helpful but not required.
• Must have an anticipated graduation date of May 2027 or 2028
• Ability to relocate to Richmond, VA or Cayce, SC
