Responsibilities
Position Purpose:
Java Engineer working within EIT Dev Technology Internal Hub department.
Primary duties will include (not limited to):
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle working within Agile methodology
- Write well designed, testable and efficient code
- Ensure designs follow specifications
- Collaborate and take instruction from peer engineers to complete tasks
- Document all components/methodologies as required
Qualifications
Required technical skills/experience:
- Java, Spring Boot
- PostgreSQL (or similar relational DB), SQL
- Git
- Unit Testing
Nice-to-have skills/experience:
- Microservices, Rest APIs, ORM, Mocking
- Messaging platforms (Kafka, RedPanda)
- DevOps, CI/CD
- Agile methodology

Early Careers Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree from an accredited university in a relevant program and graduating between December 2026 and August 2027 (entering penultimate year of university)
- Available for a July 2026 start date for a 13-week program
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (preferably Excel)
- Must be authorized to work in Poland for any employer
Working environment
Hybrid with minimum of 4 days in the office
