The Role
Cherry is excited to announce that we are hiring a Chief of Staff for our Berlin office. As one of Europe’s most successful early stage funds managing $1.5 billion, this is a great time to join the team.

You will work closely with our Operating Partner and leadership team in a role that combines strategic thinking with sharp execution. You'll support firm-wide initiatives, internal operations, special projects, and portfolio-related work. This is a unique opportunity to be deeply embedded in the heart of how a venture firm runs and grows.
What You’ll Do
- Support the firm’s long-term strategic planning and define success metrics to drive operational excellence
- Initiate and lead special projects - including cross-functional initiatives, team offsites, and organisational improvements
- Help shape and support the work of our Strategic Resources team as they drive growth across the portfolio
- Ensure clear, aligned internal communication across the firm
- Coordinate key firm processes such as strategy meetings, investment approvals and portfolio reviews
- Oversee and continuously improve internal administration and office operations
- Act as a right hand to the leadership team in executing our ambitious growth plans
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of relevant experience in operations, strategy, or project management, ideally from top-tier consulting, investment banking, or startup environments
- Strong academic background from a top university
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable with numbers and large datasets
- High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; fast learner when it comes to new tools and systems
- International mindset and the ability to thrive in a multicultural environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, approachable, empathetic, and a team player
