The signal monitoring and cyber security team based in our headquarters (Santa Rosa, CA) is looking for a student who would like to gain exposure of signal processing and software development.  This intern will contribute from algorithm evaluation, code development and final system integration.  

You'll interface with many cross-functional partners from application engineering, product management and various R&D team, our team is across globe. this is an exciting opportunity for anyone who likes to be working in high tech industry.

‍Responsibilities‍

• Develop signal processing algorithm in Matlab or Python
• Setup test bed to verify the performance of the algorithm
• Convert the algorithm to C++ code

‍Qualifications‍

Desired Qualifications:

• In Master or PHD program of electrical engineering (EE) or computer engineering (EECS).
• Study concentration in digital signal processing (DSP) with RF (wireless) signal theory and algorithm development.
• Familiar with some of the RF/MW signals, for example, RADAR, GPS/GNSS, Satellite. 4G/5G, WLAN, and Bluetooth etc.
• Able to develop algorithms in Matlab or Python and convert the program into C++ for final integration.

Bonus skills:

• • Geolocation techniques: Angle of Arrival (AoA)  and Time difference of Arrival (TDoA)
  • Signal waveform identification
  • Antenna theory
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Keysight Internship Program Requirements

Candidates who wish to be considered must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university as of September 2026. Applicants who have graduated before September 2026 will not be considered unless they are starting a MS or PHD program after graduating.
