About the company

Brookfield

Company overview
Brookfield is a global investment firm that manages alternative assets across areas like infrastructure, renewable power and energy transition, real estate, private equity, and credit. Brookfield also operates a large ecosystem of operating businesses, alongside the asset management platform. The company serves institutional investors and individuals with long-term investment strategies and retirement-focused solutions. Brookfield operates across dozens of countries and runs major offices in global finance hubs.

Locations and presence

Brookfield operates in 50+ countries, with major offices highlighted across cities such as New York, Toronto, London, Mumbai, Tokyo, and others. Many early-career roles are tied to specific offices and some listings explicitly require regular on-site attendance, so graduates should expect office-based work to be common.

Brookfield offers real entry points for students through named student programs and a steady stream of internships across business groups, with mentorship and development described in multiple places. Hiring transparency is the main limitation because Brookfield does not publish a consistent, candidate-facing breakdown of stages, timelines, and feedback expectations across programs. Pay information appears for some early-career roles via posted hourly ranges, but coverage is uneven across locations and teams.
