The Amazon Cross Border Core Technology team is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to drive the development of innovative technologies that will shape platforms and products impacting a multibillion-dollar business and enhancing the global customer experience. Our team is focused on building next-generation services that will transform international trade at Amazon. We aim to revolutionize how shoppers worldwide discover and purchase global products. We’re developing new services in areas like Customer Returns, Accounting, Customer Service and Mobile App to enhance the international shopping experience. Our goal is to offer a seamless, one-stop shopping experience for international customers, which includes:

Building products (mobile and web based) that reach millions of new customers globally, delivering a world-class shopping experience with localized language, payment options, and currencies.
Designing API-based services in NAWS that enable scalable platforms for both internal and external partners.
Advancing customer experience technologies to support shoppers worldwide.
Innovating strategies for global expansion and developing solutions that will sustain the continued rapid growth of this thriving business.

About the team


We're going to enable customers around the globe to purchase products on Amazon with guaranteed shipping and import duty fees. We’re going to improve this experience by making selection available across all Amazon marketplaces, so that customers can search and browse in their preferred language and currency. Along the way, we're going to face seemingly impossible problems. We're going to argue about how to solve them, and we'll work together to find a solution that is superior to each of the proposals we came in with. We'll make tough decisions, but we'll all understand why. We'll be the dream team.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
