About the company

McKinsey & Company

Company overview
McKinsey & Company is a global management consulting firm that advises companies, governments, and social-sector organisations on strategy, performance, and transformation. McKinsey & Company also has specialist groups spanning analytics, digital, design, implementation, and sector expertise. Client work is typically delivered in small teams on time-bound problems, with travel and in-person collaboration depending on office and engagement. Early-career hiring is most visible through the Business Analyst and Business Analyst Intern pathways, supported by structured assessments and interview prep resources.

Locations and presence

McKinsey & Company lists offices in 130+ cities across 65+ countries, including Manila and other major hubs worldwide. Consulting roles are largely office-based with regular team time in person, with additional client-site work depending on the engagement.

Palpable Score

77.4
/ 100
McKinsey & Company provides clear early-career entry points through recurring Business Analyst intern intakes and a global Business Analyst hiring track with published pay ranges in some jurisdictions. The score is capped because McKinsey & Company does not publish cohort outcomes like internship conversion rates, early-tenure retention, or typical time-to-promotion, so long-term outcomes are harder to verify from public evidence.
