Role Definition:
Employs data analytics to assess an organization's technical performance and makes system enhancement recommendations.
What You Will Do:
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data marts and business data objects.
- Name relevant data sources and define relationships, dependencies, and mappings.
- Create reusable schemas for Snowflake data marts, ensuring alignment with business processes.
- Maintain data dictionaries and metadata to support governance and auditability.
What You Have:
- Expertise in ER modeling and tools like ERwin or Power Designer.
- Strong SQL and database design concepts such as data vault, star schemas, etc.
- Experience with big data platforms for performance and cost like Snowflake and Cloudera.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Understanding of data governance and metadata standards.
