The Role:

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking an Analyst for our Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) product support team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling client support questions over phone, email, and chat while also working with other internal teams to help clients get custom templates, meet research needs and occasionally produce client-facing webinars.

As an Analyst, you are the epitome of client support; providing exceptional customer service while showcasing vast knowledge about S&P Global Market Intelligence tools, our data, and the industries we cover. Professionals from the top financial institutions in the world will be asking you to figure out the things that they cannot figure out on their own.

The Impact:

The TMT Product Operations team is the main touchpoint for most of our Media sector focused clients. As an Analyst, you serve as the “face” of the company. Going above and beyond in our service offering is where this team adds value.

If selected for the TMT Analyst role, you will leverage your strong relationship building skills and exceptional customer service attitude to answer incoming client questions and respond to requests. You will also strive to constantly offer guidance and additional perspective to help our clients maximize their use of our product suite.

The Career Opportunity:

If you’re a self-starter who’s ready for the challenge of becoming a subject matter expert on the S&P Global Media product offerings, this could be the right opportunity for you. Over time, the Analyst will take on additional responsibilities within the team, including working with our internal research and editorial teams, producing webcasts on the media industry and working with our internal template team to add value to our excel models.. The role as a Product Operations Analyst offers great exposure to many other internal departments, and opens doors for tremendous career opportunities with S&P Global.

The Team / The Business:

To ensure that our clients have partners to support them in their success, S&P Global’s Product Operations Analysts leverage their exceptional customer service skills to build relationships with clients and help them get the most out of our business intelligence tools.

Requirements:

Our Hiring Manager says:

We are a hard-working but relaxed team. We strive to be best in-class for support and have the survey scores to back it up (Media was the top industry for surveys scores last year).  We are looking for self-starters and people who are looking to constantly push themselves and solve problems thinking critically. If you don’t have a thirst to be continuously learning about the industry and keeping up to date on recent events and the major players, this job is not for you.

Palpable Score

72.1
/ 100
S&P Global offers several credible entry points through internships and early-career rotations, and S&P Global backs that up with benefits and structured learning language that graduates can verify on public pages. Hiring transparency is decent, helped by a published candidate journey and repeatable interview patterns, but candidates still report uneven follow-up experiences. Outcomes are the main limiter because S&P Global does not publish intern conversion, early-tenure retention, or typical time-to-promotion data.
