The Team and Role:
The NPI Manufacturing Engineer Intern, will work within the NPI Manufacturing Manager team, and is responsible for assisting in driving manufacturing strategies and solutions. This role directly impacts the final product cost, quality, and delivery of new products. The NPI Manufacturing Engineer Intern will support NPI projects across value chain strategy, DFM, FMEA, CIP, lean manufacturing, value engineering, and process development expertise.

- Support execution of early and ongoing operations involvement to ensure new products and technologies are designed for manufacturability and propose alternative manufacturing approaches.
- Interface with engineering teams on new and sustaining product processes and value engineering improvements.
- Perform product teardown analysis to drive DfC, cost reduction CIP, and component cost benchmarking..
- Support CIP activities pertaining to lean manufacturing, cycle time, and process improvements.
- Assist in developing FMEA risk assessment and proactively manage mitigation and contingency plans.
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:
- Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering
- Fluent in Mandarin and English is required
