The Quality Engineer is responsible to ensure that all products, processes, methods and equipment are validated, and is the quality representative in Quality improvement projects. You will handle external customer complaints and change management business processes while continuing to feel excited about being hands-on with the quality tool and product functionality and production.

This position is part of the Quality Control Department reporting to the Senior Quality Manager and will be located in Benoi Sector, Singapore.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Perform quality assurance activities across the filter manufacturing process, including incoming material inspection, in-process checks, and final product release. Conduct and support FMEA sessions to proactively identify and mitigate potential failure modes in products and processes.
- Lead nonconformity and customer complaint investigations, including root cause analysis (RCA) and development of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Utilize system for non-conformance tracking, and CAPA management.
- Apply SPC techniques to monitor, analyse, and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring consistent product quality and early detection of deviations. Utilize SPACE system for SPC/ quality data analysis. Manage and maintain quality records and documentation in SAP, including inspection lots, quality notifications, and audit trails.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Material Management/Warehouse, Customer Quality Team) to resolve quality issues and improve product reliability. Monitor and report on key quality metrics.
- Support internal and external audits (e.g., ISO, customer audits). Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Ensure compliance with Pallโs quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.

The essential requirements of the job include
- Bachelorโs degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in Quality Control/Assurance relevant to the Semiconductor, Electronics or Automotive Manufacturing Industry.
- Solid understanding of quality tools and methods. ย (FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, DOE, 5Why, FTA, 8D, 6 Sigma, Minitab/JMP)
- Excellent interpersonal to provide guidance and educate various stakeholders about upholding good quality standards

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Analytical and data visualization skills
- Working experience across diverse functions, backgrounds, and locations. Flexibility to accommodate different time zones as needed to support our global activities
- Certified Quality Engineer or Lead auditor with a thorough understanding of ISO 9001 requirements ย
