Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Program Manager to oversee component engineering governance, processes, tools, and activities, focusing on Electrical/Electronic/Electromechanical (EEE) components in our products. This role involves close collaboration with the Component Engineer to minimize costs, ensure second source availability, and manage obsolescence risks. The successful candidate will identify risks, propose mitigation plans, and align strategies across multiple functional teams, including Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Contract Manufacturers.
Essential Functions
- Lead and manage projects related to component engineering, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to overall deliverables.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of components, from selection to end-of-life management.
- Collaborate with component engineers to ensure all components meet required quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with component obsolescence and supply chain disruptions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring reliable supply chains and addressing any issues promptly.
- Evaluate performance data to make informed decisions about component selection and supplier performance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of components into the final product.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams to provide updates on project status and milestones.
- Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives to enhance component quality.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of program activities for future reference and accountability.

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in program management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Familiarity with component engineering practices and standard quality requirements is an advantage.
- Professional written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office Excel.
