The Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and support at customer sites. Working under the guidance of Field Service Engineers or senior technicians, the FST ensures equipment operates efficiently and meets performance specifications, supporting production uptime and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure excellent execution of installation and support of hardware issues.
- Ensure the relevance of technical information used by internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and consistent follow-ups to support strong customer relationships.
- Additional assigned tasks when necessary.
- Business travel as required (approximately 50% travel).
- Adhere to safety guidelines and industry standards while working on-site, ensuring all activities are compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
- Collect and communicate field data, customer feedback, and equipment performance insights to internal teams for continuous product and service improvement.
Shift work/On call working mode will be required.
Valid driver's license is required for this role.
Domestic and International travel of at least 25%~50% will be required for this role.
The actual job grade will be determined based on skill set and experience.
Requirement:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- No prior experience required, but internships or hands-on experience in a related field is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, or automation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering diagrams.
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work at customer sites.
