What you will be working on
- Partner with Global Operations teams (Manufacturing, Production Planning, Procurement, and Quality Engineering) to optimize manufacturing processes, cycle time, assembly sequence, and quality.
- Provide first-line engineering support to resolve daily operational issues in semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet daily product delivery targets aligned with production schedules and quality standards.
- Perform systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis of manufacturing issues and deviations.
- Define and create manufacturing procedures, build/test sequences, and quality documentation (e.g., work instructions, test procedures, inspection checklists).
- Liaise with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal teams to drive timely solutions.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on quality, cost, capacity, and efficiency.
- Deliver tooling and test equipment that meet product requirements and enhance manufacturing efficiency.

What we are looking for
- Bachelorโs Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Candidates with relevant internship experience will also be considered.
- Experience in equipment assembly and test within the Semiconductor or Capital Equipment industry.
- Familiarity with material fabrication processes, component installation, and assembly integration.
- Understanding of Bill of Materials structure and revision changes.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving change.
- Knowledge of operational excellence tools such as Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, 8D, PDCA, DMAIC, Six Sigma, Cpk, GR&R, and SPC.
