Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining network quality by monitoring and adjusting audio and video parameters. Minimizes customer outages by working effectively with other departments and team members. Analyzes and reacts quickly to technical problems and be able to understand complex signal paths including large routing systems. Depends on others for instruction, guidance and direction.

Core Responsibilities
- Monitors and adjusts audio and video parameters to insure the best network quality.
- Maintains network quality, minimize customer outages and communicate technical issues and solutions in daily shift reports and pass-down meetings.
- Tunes and trouble-shoots various types of satellite and fiber decoders.
- Assists operations with training related to audio and video equipment use and their adjustments.
- Insures a clean and dust free environment in all technical areas. Maintains the integrity of the system wiring and documentation.
- Coordinates and supports internally and externally run company broadcast events. Provides assistance in network planning, engineering, architecture and the development of technical standards for video over IP.
- Provides basic resolution for routine network problems, coordination of support of end user problems, occasionally direct end user support for executives.
- Contributes to projects supporting the implementation, operations and management of the real time, network-computing infrastructure.
- Installs and repairs broadcast operations equipment as needed.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
