The role...

You are an experienced product designer with a sophisticated eye for visual craft and interaction design that thinks in systems, strives for accessibility, and brings strong personal skills to foster collaboration across teams. You have proven experience working in a central role within a product business with a mature design system to service adoption and reuse of scalable components and semantic tokens across design libraries and code base. You’re a good egg that brings strong UX/UI skills, but specialises in system thinking, interaction design and accessibility.

This role sits within the central design team and is focused on driving component creation as we grow our design system to support new product launches. At Dojo we’re mindful that the route into Product Design can be varied and diverse - we like and encourage that, both in terms of experience and our people. What follows is a high-level view of the role expectations and reflects those things we value most. That said, we don’t think in terms of years of experience, nor expertise in all that follows, but we are after someone who is driven, humble and will contribute passionately into our design community at Dojo.

Dojo offers real entry routes for early-career candidates, including internships and graduate hiring, with some role types explicitly grouped under “Early Careers”. The hiring process has clear stages and an intent to provide feedback, but candidate experience signals look mixed once volume increases. Learning support looks more developed than pay transparency, and publicly visible early-career outcomes are uneven.
