Key job responsibilities

Amazon is seeking a motivated candidate to develop innovative solutions and manage Transportation First Mile Metrics. As a Transportation Analyst, you will have to:



• Use data to manage strategic process to ensure business expansion
• Manage, create, execute and analyze performance metrics;
• Work with large volumes and big data, in a highly complex business;
• Work with business intelligence tools, access and working with big data from multiple sources, and partner with the business to identify strategic opportunities;
• Build dashboards that can assist the team in decision-making;
• Support First Mile operations daily, identify improvement opportunities, and manage business improvements;
• Generate and analyze reports;


A day in the life


• Create querys using SQL to analyze data
• Use data knowledge to build BI analysis of important issues of First Mile
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Transportation, Business teams) for input gathering
• Lead meetings of performance results
• Present data-driven insights on business impacts
• Monitor operational excellence metrics
• Drive decision-making through data analysis and business intelligence

Basic Qualifications

- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience in the data/BI space

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Business English skills, both verbal and written
