Your responsibilities
- Support the development of protective measures for international trade compliance and enhance customer experience.
- Assist in managing foreign trade regulations, ensuring compliance with import and export procedures.
- Learn about Customs regulations and tariff classification, including specific classification codes.
- Utilize and manage trade tools and product catalog for effective compliance tracking.
- Contribute to internal audit reports, ensuring adherence to KPIs in trade compliance.
- Aid in the preparation and maintenance of AEO certification documentation and processes.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to deepen trade compliance knowledge and share insights.
- Gain a specialized skill set in trade compliance that differentiates you in the job market.
Your skills and experience
You are a great fit if you have:
- Understanding of regulatory concepts, including tariff classification, import/export and customs documents.
- Proficiency in managing and organizing data using Microsoft Excel. The job involves analyzing product lists, invoices, and other records, so good organization of information is key.
- Ability to conduct independent research on foreign trade regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
It would be nice if you also had:
