We are looking for a passionate Test Engineer to join the MN RAN VRF KRK department in Kraków.

Integration and Verification comprises the integration of SW and / or HW or system components into system, platform, product releases, or networks and verifies the integrated entity or network against particular requirements and/or customer use cases. This includes the setup and maintenance of laboratory and associated equipment, tools, and devices.  Additionally, we automate many aspects of our verification and testing environment.   Also included in the role can be the demonstration of our products and systems to internal audiences as well as end customers and users.

Your responsibilities

• Analyze features with respect to end-to-end purpose and functionality
• Design test cases and test scenarios based on requirements specifications
• Integrate and verify features in a customer-close, end-to-end test lab with real equipment environment
• Automate test cases for regression tests to ensure high product quality
• Trouble-shoot SW bugs by proper pre-analysis of the faults, deliver traces and log files and verifying the fixes delivered by development
• Cooperate closely with Architecture and Development teams

Your skills and experience

You have:

• Knowledge of telecommunication systems 4G/5G
• Knowledge of telecom protocols, IP and networking
• Experience with IP and telecom networks software and hardware troubleshooting
• Python and bash knowledge
• Teamwork skills, analytical thinking
• Good communication skills in English - both verbal and written
• Readiness to work in a hybrid mode (Nokia Kraków office) is a must

Nice to have:

• Experience of LTE and 5G Core use and troubleshooting
• Verification experience in call processing (VoLTE, VoNR, CA), UE & simulators (channel emulators, QXDM, fading profiles, logs/debug), LTE/5G Core troubleshooting
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a similar subject
• Test automation experience
• Other tools: Linux user, GIT
