Job Overview


At TE Connectivity, you’ll help bring our purpose to life by creating a safer, sustainable, productive and connected future. Your role as  an Intern in the Industrial Business Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by:
•    Work closely with the Americas teams (Global / Regional account management, Sales Operations, Marketing and Customer Services) to understand the importance and all aspects of the front end of the business from strategic account planning to day-to-day tactical activities
•    Support the tactical activities with projects / assignments associated with these four functions  

Responsibilities


At TE Connectivity, you’ll be part of a global collaborative culture where your innovative approach and actions have the potential to transform the world of tomorrow. In this role may work on one or more of the following:
•    Development of a value proposition presentations
•    Research and understanding of major target customers and their market positions
•    Competitive landscape analysis and high-level gap analysis / SWOT
•    Business Process improvement Kaizen/Sales/Customer Care liaison
•    Support efforts to develop an Industrial Sales Ecosystem. This may involve analyzing account purchasing details, pricing systems specific training and pricing tools
•    Review and provide feedback on On-Boarding Portal Development for AM’s, KAM’s and DSE’s

You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you:


•    Have Received a High School Diploma or GED
•    Are currently enrolled in a program or pursuing a BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history. (In certain circumstances, students who are taking a gap year will be considered.)
•    Have previous internship or large project experience is preferred
•    Are authorized to work in the U.S.
