Fixed term Internship for 6 months

Position based in Central Milan, Hybrid - 3 days a week. 

The Sales Analyst Intern supports the Italy Sales team focused on driving analytics to SharkNinja's cross functional business partners. The Sales Analyst will be responsible for crafting compelling sell-in stories and will serve as the go-to on trends and assigned sub-categories. This is an excellent position for a highly motivated, analytical individual who likes to work in a data-driven atmosphere within fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Supporting as the customer and category sales performance reporter internally, generating and presenting actionable insights on pricing, promotional impacts, positioning, competitive landscape and market needs to develop comprehensive strategies that drive revenue while maintaining profitability.

Build partnerships with assigned retailers/buyers through presentation of market trends across the entire SharkNinja portfolio in Italy.

Identify Category gaps/opportunities for assigned Customers, creating sales stories with strategic recommendations that differentiate SharkNinja from competitors, helping to increase distribution, space and displays.

Assist in the management of the demand planning process, tracking current category trends and leveraging them to develop future forecasts, communicating opportunity gaps and risks.

Communicating for impact: Drive objective analytics - communicating actions needed for better performance

Ad Hoc Analysis - Ability to quickly process situations and determine what information/data is required to generate actionable insights

Innate curiosity and desire to find creative solutions

Requirements

Fluent Italian and English

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Critical - Advanced Microsoft Excel / Office skills

Ability to take large data sets and boil down to simple takeaways

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and detail oriented, ensuring deadlines are met

Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment

Effective communication and interpersonal skills
