About the role
This is a high-impact, zero-to-one design role. You’ll bring fresh thinking, a strong product sense, and a passion for human-centered design to uncover unmet needs and transform early-stage concepts into compelling, testable experiences. You'll thrive in ambiguity, using your creativity and strategic mindset to design what doesn’t yet exist.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying new product opportunities by deeply understanding user problems, industry trends, and Cleo’s unique strengths
- Leading early-stage ideation, sketch bold product directions, and prototype innovative concepts
- Designing and run lean research and testing processes to quickly validate or de-risk assumptions
- Collaborating with product managers, researchers, engineers, analysts, and commercial stakeholders to shape product direction
- Craft compelling visual and verbal narratives to communicate the value and potential of new product ideas
- Building strategic business cases using customer insight, data, and market understanding to advocate for promising concepts

- A creative, big-picture thinker who can imagine and design bold new product ideas
- A strategic designer who thrives on solving ambiguous problems and crafting thoughtful end-to-end experiences
- Comfortable with rapid prototyping, experimentation, and early-stage idea validation
- Collaborative and inclusive, bringing others into your process and inspiring through your work
- Deeply customer-centric, with a passion for designing products that improve users’ lives
- Energized by 0→1 work and able to move quickly from vision to scrappy MVPs and prototypes
