You will help with improving the tooling and continuous deployment environment of the Onshape platform. Interns will work on several projects throughout their time that will be used immediately to deploy/monitor and improve many aspects for the Onshape platform.
You will be part of a team that is responsible for developing solutions that improve the automated deployment, monitoring and alerting of the onshape platform. We treat interns like full time systems engineers who just happen to be around for a shorter period of time, so an intern will be a full-fledged team member with many of the same responsibilities as a full-time engineer.
· Develop new code to improve Onshape deployment infrastructure
· Collaborate with colleagues to identify, design and implement solutions.
· Participate in the code review process both as reviewer and reviewee
· Fix bugs both in your new code and in existing code
· Must be enrolled in some type of degree program in one of the following or related fields: Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
· Comfort with getting into the unknowns of a system and researching solutions.
· Experience working with Linux
· Simple knowledge of python
