The Tech Services Office Support Technician will support Jumpβs Infrastructure to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficiency of operation through automation. This role provides an opportunity to work on cutting edge global infrastructure, working closely with other teams at Jump while offering local support to a rapidly expanding office. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a fully automated and highly agile infrastructure, always looking for ways to improve. What You'll Do:

- Be focused on solving problems via automation first mindset
- Invest time in R&D and testing to develop innovative, technically demanding, solutions to unique problems facing our team and the company
- Contribute to and lead specific projects to enhance our Windows infrastructure such as:
- Delivering a best-in-class VDI experience via Citrix Virtual Desktop
- Enhancing monitoring of new and existing platforms via open source or commercial tools, producing central monitoring dashboards using OSS tools
- Integrating OS and other Windows applications with other tools used within Jump
- Be an enthusiastic owner of infrastructure, including taking part in a on-call rotation and working to automate as many tasks as possible
- Be part of a team responsible for managing Enterprise storage and Backup systems

Skills You'll Need:

- PowerShell and C# development
- Strong knowledge and understanding of virtualisation infrastructure
- Be familiar with networking fundamentals and basic troubleshooting
- Be comfortable interacting Linux systems as they interact with our teamβs technology
- Provide operational support of our users within the region as required
- Willing to operate far outside your comfort zone and existing experience, and ability to be a part in regular sensible risk management decisions (Jump is not a process driven environment)
- Other duties as assigned or needed
