IT Technicians in Amazon’s Operations teams do not work in a traditional office environment. Instead, they take care of the various IT systems that form the backbone of our logistics sites. As an IT Technician, you will work at one of our logistics locations alongside colleagues, remote support teams, and the wider company to deliver essential IT support services.

Key job responsibilities

Your main responsibilities

• Support local users by installing, supporting, and troubleshooting IT infrastructure, end-user devices, and applications
• Manage support tickets and provide first- and second-line support
• Carry out proactive maintenance to maximise the availability of all IT equipment
• Deliver projects and innovations in collaboration with other colleagues in the IT service organisation

Basic Qualifications

• Experience using hardware and software, including Microsoft Office or Windows, in an IT role
• Experience working in IT support or IT asset management and procurement
• Experience communicating with a range of stakeholders, including colleagues and leadership
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• Valid driving licence

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or another technical field
• Experience with network infrastructure
• Experience improving existing processes and procedures
• Experience producing clear, precise documentation
