This position forms part of a team operating global services, handling the requests of hundreds of millions of Apple customers. This kind of scale presents unique challenges.As a Site Reliability Engineer Intern in our team, you will work on projects to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of a 24/7 global service. You will be a part of a geographically distributed SRE teams and collaborate with your colleagues in multiple Apple offices. You must also feel comfortable collaborating and communicating with all our partners and teams at Apple (development, business, etc.). You and your Mentor will be helping with automating tasks and independently solving technical issues while working with scripting languages and infrastructure tools.

Minimum Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field. Equivalent experience is also considered.
Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Go, or others.
Self-motivated and proactive with problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
Experience dealing with ambiguity & developing strategic agility
A high level of attention to detail, interpersonal savvy and, strong verbal and written communication skills
