We are looking for an intern (m/f/d) for our modern and innovative location at Stuttgart-Vaihingen.
The Global Valuation team is responsible for real estate valuation within PIMCO Prime Real Estate and coordinates the selection and commissioning of external appraisers as well as the acceptance and reporting of market values. In line with the global real estate portfolio, the valuation team operates from Stuttgart, Munich, Paris, New York and Singapore. We provide comprehensive support to Allianz's internal clients and support our third-party client activities with in-depth valuation expertise across a portfolio of EUR 40 billion with over 1,000 property valuations per year.
What you will do:
- Support of all team members in the respective subject areas (e.g. tendering, market values, validation) with detailed insight into the various areas of responsibility
- You will take on individual areas of responsibility and carry out independent analyses on the basis of successful induction (including asset, market and portfolio analyses)
- You will gain insights into the regular real estate valuation of one of the largest institutional real estate portfolios in Europe through internal exchange, including asset management, client relations units and external exchange with industry leaders in the valuation sector.
- You will support the creation of presentations and decision templates for internal/external stakeholders in a national and international environment
- High level of personal responsibility for (sub-)projects with insights into real estate valuation, also in interdisciplinary and/or international projects
What you will bring:
- Ongoing studies in economics or a related course of study, ideally with a real estate industry connection
- Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel and experience in creating PowerPoint presentations desired
- Initiative, quick comprehension and a structured and responsible way of working
- Initial experience in DCF modeling is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
