The Life Sciences XDB Platform Team delivers and maintain software for electron microscopes supporting drug discovery, structural and plant biology, infectious disease, pathology research... Working with experts in multiple domains, we contribute to the creation and the integration of solutions that help making the world heathier, cleaner and safer!
How will you make an impact?
As an intern in the Life Sciences XDB Platform Team, you will help the team to improve the quality of the software, by creating new unit tests and automated integration tests ensuring that the key customer functionalities are maintained and stable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write new unit tests for our critical modules
- Design and code new integration tests to ensure that the applications valued by our customers are not being altered by the development of new features.
- Learn and share! We value exchanging knowledge and while we will be here to guide you and help you grow, we also appreciate new ideas or different opinions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- University student (Computer Science)
- Basic knowledge of at least one Object-Oriented Language (C++ and C# are preferred)
- Good level in English both spoken and written.
- Active and creative approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to continuously learn and share knowledge.
- Teamwork and collaboration with experts in other domains than software.
- Knowledge of modern test writing trends/frameworks and cybersecurity is not required, but can be a plus.
