At Nasdaq, you’ll have the chance to start your career in an environment where learning, teamwork, and innovation come first. In this role, you’ll support the Finance Organization and gain hands-on experience with cutting edge automation technologies to deliver automated solutions leveraging GenAI. This hands-on experience will expose you to real-world finance automation projects, from invoice processing and reconciliation workflows to complex financial reporting and analysis procedures.

What You’ll Do
- Support Intelligent Automation team with day-to-day tasks and contribute to ongoing initiatives.
- Learn how to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end automation solutions.
- Deliver AI-based solutions that enhance decision making and drive operational efficiency
- Develop and implement components of Generative AI solutions and traditional automations, ensuring quality, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with teammates across different functions and regions.
- Bring your ideas and curiosity to problem-solving and project work.
- Develop your technical and professional skills through training and mentorship.
What You’ll Bring
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics or related field with coursework in data analysis, process improvement, or technology applications.
- Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and take on new challenges.
- Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team environment.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Curiosity about technology, finance, and global markets.
- Basic skills in Excel, SQL or database querying, and familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, VBA, or similar) or demonstrated interest in automation technologies and process optimization.
Nice-to-Have
- Internship or project experience related to Intelligent Automation, Process Improvement or similar field
- Involvement in student organizations, volunteering, or leadership roles.
- Familiarity with Generative AI concepts, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications, RAG, vectorization, etc.
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), programming languages, web-scraping and LLM fine-tuning.
This position will be located in New York City and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
