We are looking to hire a DevOps Intern to partner with graphics engineering and infrastructure teams to develop and optimize software automation solutions which will improve time to market for cutting edge products and ensure that Intel graphics software is delivered with a repeatable and scalable process. This position will be part of a global engineering organization supporting next-generation engineering innovations. Primary areas of contribution would be CI/CD pipeline enablement and optimization, graphics software compilation, signing, security scanning, packaging, and releasing to customers.

Areas of responsibility include:

• Support tools for continuous build, code signing and scanning, and release management.
• Improving and adapting our release processes to changing business needs.
• Evaluate and optimize the tool chain to leverage or develop automation tools, focusing on scale and efficiency.
• We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, ready to learn new languages and technologies, and enjoys working with a diverse set of people to create a collaborative community of software development.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

Student status in computer science, computer engineering or other science/engineering related field.

Candidate should also have knowledge with the following:

• Skill with one or more scripting languages, Python and Go preferred.
• Modern/distributed SCM systems, particularly Git/GitHub.
• Knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of Networking protocols.

Nice to have:

• Devops skills and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) knowledge.
• Knowledge about Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration would be a plus.
