Mission and Goals  

As a Software Engineer on our Engineering team, you’ll play a key role in supporting our O&O team by enhancing and optimizing our suite of websites. You’ll contribute to front-end development efforts, implement innovative solutions, and ensure our platforms deliver exceptional user experiences. This role reports directly to the Lead Software Engineer and works closely with fellow developers to bring high-impact projects to life.

Responsibilities:

• Build responsive, performant, and maintainable interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Collaborate across teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and align on priorities.
• Own features end-to-end, from design review to implementation and production.
• Integrate and extend headless CMS platforms (Contentful, WordPress) via APIs and SDKs.
• Contribute to code reviews, CI/CD workflows, and modern frontend standards.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and apply modern frontend best practices.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack development, ideally in fast-paced industries.
• Strong skills in React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with headless CMS platforms like Contentful and WordPress.
• Proficiency with version control (Git) and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with accessibility (a11y), SEO best practices, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with agile development and iterative delivery.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration and communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with analytics, caching (memcached, Redis, Varnish), or server-side rendering optimization.
