About the company

BCG

Company overview
BCG is a global management consulting firm that advises organisations on strategy, transformation, operations, technology, and large change programmes. BCG works with corporate clients, public sector bodies, and non-profits, often on high-stakes problems that require analytics, stakeholder management, and client delivery. The company also runs specialist teams and products, including digital and data-focused work that sits alongside classic strategy consulting. BCG operates a large global office network and hires into both client-facing consulting and internal enabling functions.

Locations and presence

BCG operates in 100+ cities across more than 50 countries, with large hubs in North America, Europe, and Asia. Most early-career consulting roles are office-based with client travel, and working patterns typically blend in-office team time with flexibility that varies by local office and project needs.

Palpable Score

77.9
/ 100
BCG offers strong early-career access through repeatable internship and graduate entry routes across many offices, and BCG backs those routes with well-known training and case preparation resources. The hiring process is structured and widely communicated, but feedback and timeline expectations still vary by office and recruiting cycle. Pay is typically competitive for top-tier consulting, yet consistent salary-range transparency and published early-career outcome metrics are limited, which caps the score.
