Consulting & Project Management
- Maintain records of ZBSA/TSA accounts as well as funds sanctioned by BEE from inception.
- Submit monthly expenditure reports and maintain records of utilization certificates provided to BEE.
- Provide any additional data or information as requested by BEE, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial documentation.
- Manage the State Energy Conservation Funds (SECF), including oversight of fund utilization and implementation of revolving investment fund (RIF) mechanisms for energy efficiency projects.
- Identify sectors suitable for pilot energy efficiency projects and facilitate the use of SECF as RIF for demonstration initiatives, guided by established SECF utilization guidelines.
- Organize and participate in regular meetings of the energy efficiency (EE) financing committee, identifying and proposing EE projects suitable for committee consideration in the respective State/UT.
- Promote BEE’s financing programs and support organization of awareness activities targeting financial institutions, PAT industries, buildings sector, MSMEs, ESCOs, and other stakeholders to advance EE finance.
- Assist in organizing investment bazaars to connect financial institutions and project developers for energy efficiency matchmaking in the state.
- Carry out any other work assigned by BEE and SDAs pertaining to energy efficiency finance, program support, and reporting.
- Lead project delivery on specific deliverables/engagements assigned by the Supervisor, within a stipulated timeline, stretching when needed
- Demonstrate expertise in writing reports, making presentations, number-crunching & graphics/visualization.
This role is for a fixed term project for 2 years, extendable up to 4 years.
Key Skills and qualifications:
- Education: MBA in Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA) with experience in accounting software and the latest taxation rules and regulations is required.
- Experience: Minimum one year of post-qualification experience in financing or accounting is mandatory.
- Financial modelling and analysis, financial reporting and budgeting, risk management, and knowledge of financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software such as Tally and strong skills in data interpretation. Flexibility to perform any other work assigned by BEE and SDAs.
- Thorough understanding of various schemes of BEE and energy sector initiatives. Familiarity with national projects on energy efficiency interventions.
- Data analysis & related analytical knowledge
- Other requirements: Only candidates willing to be stationed at the SDA office (Location: Jaipur) should apply.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to resolve complex finance and accounting issues
- Good communication skills (oral and written) in English and Hindi.
