As an External Reporting Analyst, you will handle the oversight of financial statements and management reporting, ensuring a sound control environment. You'll apply accounting treatments and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements, coordinate the preparation of quarterly regulatory requirements, and validate balance sheet items. Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in various aspects of production, review, and filing of quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports for regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate data collection and quarterly business results with various lines of business, Regulatory Controllers, and SEC reporting teams.
- Consolidate, review, and analyze quarterly financial data for accuracy and completeness; perform quarter-over-quarter variance analytics.
- Adhere to various control procedures and edit checks to ensure the integrity of reported financial results.
- Assist in the thorough assessment of issues and outcomes, and clearly communicate financial information to the lines of businesses, flagging potential issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts around data quality review and external reporting improvement projects.
- Apply up-to-date product/industry/market knowledge in specialty areas of reporting.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- University degree in Finance/Accounting or a similar field.
- 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong Excel and computer skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong skills in time management, problem-solving, written and oral communication.
- Team player, with the ability to work effectively across diverse functions, locations, and businesses.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in Product Control, Financial Control, or knowledge of SEC reporting/Reg reporting.
- Practical experience with automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Xceptor).
