Key job responsibilities

Core Security Operations

- Monitor and secure data center facilities through regular patrols, surveillance oversight, and physical security assessments

- Manage access control systems ensuring authorized personnel access across Green, Yellow, and Red security zones

- Oversee vendor and contractor security compliance during on-site operationsData Protection & Incident Response

- Protect sensitive customer data by enforcing strict Red Zone access controls and media handling protocols

- Implement media sanitization and destruction procedures for storage devices (HDDs, SSDs, etc.)

- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with Security Operations Center (SOC)Compliance & Documentation

- Enforce AWS security policies and standards across assigned facilities

- Document security events and maintain compliance records through established systems

- Conduct security audits to identify and remediate vulnerabilitiesCollaboration

- Partner with cross-functional teams including Data Center Operations (DCO), Engineering Operations (DCEO), and Contract Guard Force (CGF)

- Support Data Center Security Manager with operational initiatives and emergency response procedures

Basic Qualifications

- Valid Hong Kong ID or eligible work permit
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Basic understanding of access control systems
- Ability to read and understand security policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of relevant work experience. Experience in a data center or other critical environment, physical security control and surveillance systems
- Experience in audits related to business processes, risk mitigation, program compliance, or internal audits, experience working with stakeholders
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment. Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement
- Prior experience working with security teams or guard forces
- Experience using security management systems
