WeiXin Group(WXG) is responsible for the construction and operation of the Weixin ecosystem and leveraging Weixin's open platforms such as Official Accounts, Mini Programs, Weixin Pay, WeCom and search function. WXG provides solutions and connectivity for intelligent upgrades across all industries. WXG is also responsible for the development and operation of QQ Mail, WeRead and other products.

What the Role Entails

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify business opportunities and optimize product performance.
• Develop data dashboards and visualization tools to track key performance metrics and provide actionable product insights.
• Assist in building scalable data pipelines to support WeChat’s operational needs and enhance platform security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical findings into business strategies.

Who We Look For

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Students who will graduate in 2026 or beyond and will be able to commit to either a full time internship or a 3 day part-time internship. Ideal if you are able to onboard in November 2025 otherwise it will be for 2026 January intake
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (knowledge of C/C++/Go is a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong sense of ownership, customer-oriented mindset, and integrity
• Fast learner and effective team player with excellent communication skills
• Prior internship or work experience in the tech or internet industry is preferred
• Fluency in English and Mandarin to collaborate effectively with international teams and HQ stakeholders
