We are looking for a motivated Cyber Security Intern with a strong interest in applying AI, software development, and security engineering to real-world cyber security tools and operations. This internship offers the opportunity to work hands-on with modern SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanning tools, and SOC automation workflows. You’ll get to prototype innovative solutions to creatively enhance the tools and operations in the areas including detection, response, and vulnerability management.
Key Responsibilities
- SIEM Innovation: Develop and test AI-driven plugins and features to enhance detection, alert triage, and threat-hunting workflows.
- Tools Integration: Integrate other security systems such as threat intelligence feeds, attack surface management system, vulnerability scanning and management tools into the SIEM to enable a unified SOC view of vulnerabilities, threats, and incidents.
- Automation: Explore and prototype automation for SOC operations (e.g., incident enrichment, playbook triggers, vulnerability remediation workflows).
- Research & Innovation: Stay updated on cutting-edge AI and security operations technologies, and prototype them creatively to our tools and operations.
Skills for success:
- Study in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems, or related field.
- Strong foundation in coding and scripting
- Passionate about and development experience with machine learning/AI
- Exposure to cybersecurity fundamentals: SIEM, SOC workflows, vulnerability scanning, log analysis, or threat detection.
- Experience with APIs, data integration, or automation frameworks is a plus.
- Curiosity, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
