What you’ll do

We’re looking for an outgoing, organized, and motivated individual to strengthen our portfolio post-investment through community-focused programs, resources, and partnerships. This role sits at the heart of our portfolio experience—delivering real value to our founders, bringing our brand to life, and helping our portfolio ecosystem work smarter together. You will play a key role in fostering meaningful connections, driving engagement, and ensuring our portfolio companies have exceptional experiences throughout their journey with us.  

You will report to our Head of Portfolio and work closely with other platform team members to include our Portfolio Growth team, Events Lead, and Communications Lead. You will be expected to work out of our Bellevue office at least 4 days per week. Occasional travel is expected.  Specifically, you will:

1. Increase our value and reputation through community programs and resources

• Organize workshops, #AMAs, and other sessions that support learning and connection across the portfolio
• Work closely with our Events Lead to stay on top of our calendar and ensure we’re maximizing portfolio participation and engagement
• Maintain our community resources such as our Knowledge Base, Perks Marketplace, and Portfolio Jobs Board
• Curate our Slack feed with perks, recommendations, and other relevant content
• Work with our Communications Lead to ensure we are promoting our portfolio companies, amplifying their messages, and building reputation through content/social
• Manage swag and other brand collateral to bring our firm’s personality to life
• Run our regular and ad hoc portfolio surveys to help us learn and adapt

2. Drive value through strategic partnerships

• Own relationships with cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, MS Azure) to help our startups access credits, support, and GTM opportunities
• Be fluent in the AI landscape (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, etc.) and identify ways to bring that value into the portfolio
• Source, build, and activate new partnerships with corporations and service providers that support our portfolio’s strategic objectives

What’s required

We’re looking for candidates with 2-6 years of experience in community, partnerships, events, or operations—ideally in a startup or VC platform team setting. Most importantly, we are looking for candidates with the following attributes:

The annual base salary range for this role is $90,000-$120,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
