Description

Amazon is seeking a skilled Finance Operations Specialist to join our AWS Finance Operations team. This role focuses on managing global asset transfers, developing key performance metrics, and optimizing financial processes across AWS operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities with a commitment to continuous process improvement and exceptional communication skills across all levels of the organization.

Key job responsibilities


• Process and manage global asset transfers while consistently meeting daily productivity targets
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments throughout the complete asset transfer lifecycle
• Address complex vendor inquiries with timely and effective resolutions
• Identify and resolve underlying systemic issues by addressing root causes
• Partner with internal teams to understand and resolve vendor-related challenges
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address vendor inquiries and concerns
• Escalate customer-impacting issues within the procure-to-pay functional area, including Amazon Systems-related matters
• Conduct comprehensive, data-driven escalations with detailed analysis
• Support issue resolution through actionable plans and diligent follow-up

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in accounting and commerce (B. Com)
- Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections) or general ledger experience
