BCN PEG CoE provides specialized support to global teams across the private equity value chain, enabling clients to make key investment decisions. Our expertise lies in addressing critical diligence questions through a range of products such as survey analytics, digital diagnostic, workforce analytics and disruption assessment. Our teams work in a fast-paced environment delivering consistent and impactful results at scale. In the last decade, we have witnessed an exponential growth, reaching ~200 members in 2021 from ~10 members in 2013. We operate from 2 locations – India and Poland, and operate across all 3 regions (EMEA, Americas and APAC). We work across industries, including Technology, Consumer Products, Retail and Healthcare. BCN PEG provides an opportunity to solve challenging business problems in a dynamic set-up working closely with global Bain teams, acting as a thought-partner with daily deliverables.
What you’ll do
- Take responsibility of his/her workstream and conduct analysis independently along with managing 1-3 analysts
- Ability to generate hypothesis supported by robust business insights
- Build in-depth understanding and identify and apply the relevant analytical tools for own workstream
- Perform thorough quality checks in their work including pressure-testing the insights
- Manage 1-3 analysts in their execution and ensure case timelines are met
- Support the supervisor in work-planning and brainstorming on key recommendations/potential impact
- Communicate business insights effectively
- Understand client needs and situations and adapt to case expectations. Show ability to resolve complex problems across work streams
- Lead internal meetings effectively in a focused manner; own junior-mid level client map relationships
- Design well-formatted output with a clear and structured storyline to communicate key insights
- Effectively structure communication of insights from own work stream. Deliver clear and professional presentations to the team/team leaders/managers
- Seek appropriate coaching and guidance from supervisors and proactively drive self-learning for own professional development
- Motivate team members, boost team morale and exhibit role model behavior
- Facilitate cross-sharing of learning/knowledge and tools within and across teams
- Leverage opportunities to provide training, coaching and mentoring to fellow team members
About you
Educational qualification
- Bachelors or Masters degree in any discipline
- Strong academic credentials, analytical ability and leadership skills
Professional experience
- Work experience range in case highest qualification is undergraduate studies- 2-5 years of experience in a global professional services firm environment preferably with atleast 1 year of exposure to business research and consulting
- Work experience range in case highest qualification is postgraduate studies- 0-3 years of experience in a global professional services firm environment preferably with atleast 1 year of exposure to business research and consulting
- Preferably experienced in Business research, analyzing company performance, and market trends
- Experience in databases such as Thomson Reuters, CapitalIQ, Factiva and D&B preferred
- Strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint; additionally, familiarity and knowledge of tools such as Tableau, Alteryx is an added advantage
- Quick learner, willing to get into the details; good at thriving in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently
