We look for individuals with not only solid technical skills but also the right balance of operational excellence, problem solving and strategic thinking to support the growth of Apple in Greater China.We are now seeking a Finance Intern to join our Shanghai-based Cash Applications team to drive the ongoing organizational development of GBS and deliver a wide range of functional solutions.Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it.You will work closely with key business partners to ensure we are providing the highest standards solution to support cash apps related activities and maximize automation. You'll work in a dynamic environment to develop further with additional responsibilities in line with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end cash application process using banking reports and portals across Greater China markets.
• Reconcile unidentified payments, investigate discrepancies, and drive resolution.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau to deliver actionable insights and data-informed decisions.
• Analyze end-to-end business and finance processes to identify simplification opportunities, enhance internal controls, and add business value.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support cash application activities and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Information System, or other related subjects.
• Available to join internship for at least 6 months full-time (December - May).
• Fluent in English and Chinese.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to look at the big picture, see around corners and evaluate the impact of cash apps operations.
• Highly motivated to analyze complex information and extract key insights from data to achieve the highest standard solutions.
• Working knowledge of finance systems and reporting tools.
• Partnerships and drive collaboration to influence appropriate outcomes.
• Experience with Tableau, Python or SQL is a strong plus, and passionate about applying new technologies to drive finance digitalization.
• Self starter with innovation, integrity and attention to details.
