About Team
You will be part of Sea’s HQ Finance department, which plays an integral role in supporting the accounting and finance needs of our three core businesses (Garena, Shopee, Monee) and across our diverse regional market presence. Within the department, the Regional Business Finance function is responsible for managing business-level financials), including reporting, analysis, budgeting, and business partnering. You will collaborate closely with local and regional stakeholders to conduct various financial analyses while ensuring compliance and enabling strategic decision-making.
Job Description
- Collaborate with country finance teams on month-end closing, accuracy of system data and any accounting - related matters
- Perform key analysis on the financial performance of business segment (e.g. Garena, Shopee, or Monee) and operation statistics at a regional level
- Involved in FP&A objectives in the management reporting process and budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Identify issues and collaborate with local and regional stakeholders on projects (e.g. system implementation)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting/ related discipline or other related professional qualification in accounting, such as Chartered Accountant and ACCA.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant full-time working experience in Finance related roles
- Big 4 accounting firm experience would be a plus
- Strong team player with keen interest to learn and develop themselves
- Passionate in the finance space and loves to challenge the status quo
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced and demanding environment while delivering desired results
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and build good working relationships.
- Possess strong, logical, and analytical thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- SQL and PowerBI knowledge will be an advantage
