Job Summary
Comcast Cable’s HQ Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) team within Enterprise Procurement is responsible for forecasting, purchasing, budgeting, and planning the Company’s portfolio of CPE devices and products across the entire Comcast Cable business. The Analyst, Procurement-Finance team member will support our planning, analysis and reporting initiatives. This role provides exposure to the entire Comcast Cable business (including Video, Internet, Flex, Commercial, Smart Home) and requires working cross-functionally with other departments in the organization. This position will play a key role in developing our financial models, monthly forecasting process, annual budgets, business trend analysis, and provide insightful analysis and reporting to support strategic decision making and business planning.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and update forecasting models and analyses of Comcast Cable CPE supply and demand plans, including: analysis of subscriber and box projections, customer relationships, and demand drivers across Comcast LOBs.
- Capital expenditure (CAPEX) spend analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Work with HQ and Division business unit partners to understand deployment strategies, sales and marketing impacts, and any additional business drivers to update our CPE forecasts and models.
- Compare financial results to budget and forecast to understand variance drivers and recommend future actions.
- Assist with ad hoc financial and strategic business planning based on business needs.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related field.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and drive multiple workstreams to completion.
- Strong written, oral, interpersonal skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint skills, knowledge of databases (Essbase, Tableau) a plus but not required.

Education
Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
