How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

As an analyst, you will leverage data and technology to determine the best allocation of crew resources within given constraints.  This is a strategic role that works closely with our internal partners in IT, Finance, Crew Technology, and Operations Management.  The role is focused on driving Delta’s short and long-term business priorities.

More specifically, you will be responsible for these items (and more)

To do so, these individuals will partner with other team members on projects, communicate effectively, build cross-divisional partnerships, and maintain a strong operational foundation. This role will be predominantly shift based and may encompass weekends to support the 24/7 nature of operations technology. The successful candidates will be trained in legacy systems and will be expected to maintain a comprehensive knowledge of both next-generation technology and the legacy systems to manage operational disruption, while also serving as a real time end user of next generation products to solve complex operational problems.

Palpable Score

74.8
/ 100
Delta Air Lines offers multiple early-career doors through paid internships, multi-semester co-ops, and rotational programs, plus entry-level frontline roles with structured training. Hiring transparency is strongest in specific tracks like flight attendants and pilots where stages are spelled out, while candidate-reported timelines still vary. Pay and stability signals are helped by broad benefits and profit-sharing, but the company does not publish consistent early-career outcome metrics such as conversion rates or time-to-promotion.
