Job Description And Responsibilities

The Global Business Optimization team has a simple mission: we turn massive amounts of data into actionable insights that drive business value. Our analytic consultants and data analysts work with Visa’s clients, partners, and staff to improve portfolio performance, program profitability, and cardholder experiences. The successful candidate will use strong big data and analytical skills, contextual business sense, and a creative flair to solve real-world business challenges for Visa issuing banks, acquirers, merchants, and processors. In addition, your analytic expertise will directly impact the strategic direction of the organization and how we deliver value from our data assets.

The successful candidate will be a key member in Global Business Optimization, within Client Services, supporting all aspects of improving and optimizing payment success, including but not exclusive to authentication and authorisation. Responsible for building and deploying a single source of truth on insights, facts, and reporting related to the Visa Europe Regions payment processing.

The company provides services like authorization, clearing, and settlement that sit behind many card and digital payment experiences. Visa operates across 200+ countries and territories and works with partners ranging from banks to fintechs and large merchants. The company’s products also extend into areas like risk, fraud, data-driven services, and advisory work.

Locations and presence

Visa has major hubs in the United States (including Foster City, San Francisco, Austin, and Atlanta) alongside offices across many global regions. Palpable Score

79.1
/ 100
Visa has a broad and repeatable early-career funnel, including a global internship program and multiple structured rotational programs with clear eligibility windows. The strongest evidence sits in learning support and early-career program design, while the weaker area is end-to-end hiring transparency because public details on interview stages and feedback norms are limited.
