Your role

Do you want to help create unique content for Global Banking’s most important corporate clients:

You will;

• get broad exposure to all aspects of Global Banking
• work in a team that services all of Global Banking teams across the world
• create content to differentiate UBS’ franchise in the eyes of its clients via growing mindshare or helping to win banking mandates
• innovate to create new solutions and content
• be exposed to all aspects of an investment bank, from equity research, through sales and trading in both equity and bond markets
• need to have strong time management and interpersonal skills to manage conflicting deadlines and multiple constituencies
• be able to analyse complex situations and distill them to clear, simple conclusions

Your team

Differentiated content is one of the key priorities for UBS Global Banking, and we create just that.

As an analyst in the team, you'll synthesise a wide variety of alternative market data, macro research and company materials to create topics that engage the IB's clients. You’ll work with all sector and product teams to show clients unique datapoints and advise on what they mean for their strategy. The role requires confident data handling with the ability to separate the wheat from the chaff. But as importantly, you’re engaged with what’s going on in the world and the markets, and keen to develop a rough idea into a new product.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• is in the penultimate or final year of their degree, or has recently graduated (no more than 6 months from the internship start date)
• is on track for a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in their first undergraduate / bachelor degree
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

We’re looking for someone who’s curious and wants to thrive in a business that never stops moving. We welcome all majors, but it’s important to have an interest in the financial industry. We want to see what makes you unique and discover what you can bring to our team. Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or stepped out of your comfort zone to learn about a subject you found challenging? Let us know how your achievements match the skills we’re after

Your program

This paid internship will last three to six months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.

/ 100
UBS provides strong early-career access through multiple structured routes, including an 18–24-month Graduate Talent Program, summer internships, off-cycle internships, and Swiss apprenticeships. UBS sets clear expectations on stages and assessments, but UBS also states the company cannot provide detailed feedback after rejections, which limits transparency for first-time applicants. Early-career outcomes look positive in pathway design and cohort scale, but publicly available conversion, retention, and promotion metrics are limited and the wider post-acquisition restructuring environment adds uncertainty in some teams.
