‍

About the role

Curious about tech but not sure what sales really means? You’re not alone—and that’s exactly why this internship exists.

You will join our Adobe Sales Academy as a Business Development Representative - our development programme designed to help you build the skills and confidence to thrive in tech sales. In this role, you focus on generating new leads, (both inbound and outbound), as well as qualify and nurture opportunities through the early stages of the buyer’s journey. As a Business Development Representative, you are a critical part of the sales ecosystem supporting your account team and customers. This role equips you with a fantastic foundation to progress to many other opportunities throughout the sales organisation.

‍

This isn’t just an internship—it’s your gateway into the world of innovation, customer engagement, and cutting-edge technology.  At Adobe, we’re committed to nurturing the next generation of sales professionals—and that journey begins with you. This program includes hands-on mentorship, immersive training from Adobe Sales Academy and seasoned BDRs, practicing through role plays, and access to developmental courses developed to strengthen your professional and communication skills.

You'll qualify these opportunities ready to be passed over to our Field Sales Executives. This includes target market penetration, calling on senior-level executives, following up on marketing-generated leads, webinar and event follow-up, and more.

About the company

Adobe

Company overview
Adobe is a software company best known for Creative Cloud products like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro, plus Document Cloud (Acrobat) and Experience Cloud for marketing, analytics, and commerce. Adobe sells subscriptions to individuals, teams, enterprises, and public-sector organisations. Adobe has also built and marketed generative AI features such as Adobe Firefly across creative workflows. Adobe is headquartered in San Jose, California and operates globally.

Locations and presence

Adobe’s corporate headquarters is in San Jose, and Adobe lists a large network of offices across the US and other countries. For student roles, many 2026 internship postings state a “co-located hybrid” approach, splitting time between an assigned office and home based on team expectations.

Palpable Score

78.8
/ 100
Adobe offers multiple clear entry routes, from internships across functions to university graduate roles, and Adobe backs that up with visible intern programming and a structured hiring-process outline. Pay range visibility is better than many large tech employers, and Adobe Digital Academy publishes unusually specific retention and promotion outcomes. The biggest gap is that Adobe does not publish consistent, company-wide outcomes for internships and new-grad hiring, such as conversion rates and typical time-to-promotion.
