This opportunity is based in Basel, Switzerland, with a hybrid schedule (2–3 days/week onsite). The internship is 6 months long, starting on 1 July 2026 and ending on 31 December 2026. Â
In Basel we build Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), the industry leader in Experience Management. AEM helps our customers design, manage, and deliver high-quality digital experiences for the world’s biggest brands. Â

We are having multiple internship projects open in the following areas: Â
- Backend development (Java and/or NodeJS) Â

What are we looking for? Â
- Curiosity and drive: you’re eager to learn, explore new ideas, and contribute to a global, market-leading company. Â
- Currently enrolled full-time and pursuing a Bachelor's, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience required with an expected graduation date in 2027, at a Swiss or EU University. Â
- Passionate about programming with a good understanding of concepts such as Data Structures, OOP, Algorithms, and Problem Solving.
- Excited to work across data science, AI, and analytics, helping to prepare and explore datasets, experiment with machine learning models, and create insights that support data-driven decisions across products.
- Good understanding of web technologies. Â
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations. Â
- Team collaboration: You enjoy working with others to deliver thoughtful, end-to-end solutions. Â
- Big picture thinking: You can connect the dots between day-to-day tasks and broader organisational goals. Â
- Ability to participate in a full-time internship between July-December. Â

What to expect from the recruitment process? Â
Our selection process typically consists of three stages as follows: Â
- 60-minute Online Assessment. Â
- 90-minute Technical Interview with the team. Â
- 45-minute Soft-Skills Interview with the Hiring Manager.
